Our partner is a leading developer and asset manager specializing in the development and management of high-capacity energy storage solutions in the UK.
They are looking for a licensed Electrical Engineer to join their team in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County.
The ideal candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience and have fluent English knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the high performance and reliability of Energy Storage Systems through regular inspections, preventive maintenance, annual capacity testing, fault diagnosis, and reactive service interventions.
- Carry out system-level software and firmware updates to maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor system performance and assess operational data to ensure optimal functionality.
- Deliver remote technical support and diagnostics via phone to customers.
- Resolve technical issues on-site at BESS facilities.
- Oversee spare parts
- Ensure all work complies with local safety regulations and industry safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety controls.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including timesheets, vehicle checks, and daily service reports detailing issues and actions taken.
- Support the system engineering team in product development and project execution.
- Provide product improvement suggestions.
Requirements:
- A degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical or multi-skilled maintenance roles.
- Communications skills in English
- Fundamental IT proficiency, including Word processing, Outlook, Spreadsheet management, IP-based systems.
- Certified to perform work safely on-site.
Advantages:
- Hands-on experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Practical knowledge of high and low voltage (HV/LV) power electronics, including inverters, converters, and transformers.
- Previous training in HVAC systems and F-Gas certification.
- Strong technical understanding of IT systems; CMD, remote desktop access, networking concepts (such as subnets, VLANs, static IP/DHCP), and MODBUS/TCP.
- C&G 2391-5 Test and Inspection certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
