Senior HR Services  Manager (German Speaking)

 

We are currently seeking a Senior HR Service Manager for our German partner company. This leadership role involves managing a team of approximately 25 HR Services professionals (HR Operations, Administration, and Talent Acquisition). The team includes a Team Lead who will report directly to the Senior HR Service Manager.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a solid background in Shared Service Center (SSC) environments, and fluency in German, as the role requires close collaboration with business units across Germany.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead HR service delivery for the SCE in the German region, ensuring a consistent and forward-thinking employee experience while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a hands-on sparring partner, working closely with local HR teams to continuously improve and effectively implement HR services, processes, and policies across the Operating Business.
  • Actively contribute to HR projects and support the ongoing development of HR-related structures and processes.
  • Collaborate with other SCE Leads to implement and harmonize international HR Shared Services standards, processes, and policies.
  • Ensure cost-efficient delivery of Recruiting, People & Employment, and HR Administration services, while monitoring key performance indicators for the stream.
  • Be an inspiring and supportive leader, managing, coaching, motivating, and developing each team member to help them reach their full potential.

 

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of solid experience in establishing and managing HR Shared Services, including leading diverse teams with varied professional backgrounds.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Demonstrated global leadership experience within Human Resources.
  • Strong interest in staying up-to-date with trends in HR Shared Services—both in business practices and emerging technologies.
