Your tasks will be as a VAT Accountant:
• Reviewing VAT/GST computations & VAT/GST compliance works for various countries;
• Ensure that VAT/GST and other indirect taxes are applied, booked and paid according to local rules and in a timely manner;
• Working directly with external tax consultants to support the periodic VAT/GST compliance duties and to answer the various queries related to these processes;
• Ensuring the completion of the periodic VAT/GST accounts reconciliations and propose and take actions for outstanding items;
• Liaise with PTP, OTC, RTR departments to ensure the correct processing of invoices and journal entries;
• Taking part in various indirect tax projects;
• Working directly with the various stakeholders (finance and business colleagues of the local offices, colleagues from other GBS departments, professional service providers and tax advisors) in different tax questions, statutory audit queries and external tax audits;
• Make suggestions on process improvements and help to achieve data quality and tax reports improvements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• About 2 years of experience in Indirect taxation
• Strong knowledge of VAT/GST regulations and tax calculations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
