Our American multinational partner is a looking for a Fixed Assets Accountant colleague for their team for a 6-month project.
The ideal candidate should have about 3 years of FA accounting experience, and fluent English knowledge.
Your tasks will be as a Fixed Assets Accountant:
- Oversee and support the fixed asset processing
- Monitor, guide, and communicate with sites regarding their fixed assets
- Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly fixed assets activity
- Assist various departments and project managers with CIP balances and other fixed asset transactions
- Reconcile and review selected general ledger accounts as assigned
- Prepare various journal entries
- Take ownership on financial consolidation process
- Maintain and ensure all SOX procedures are completed for the fixed asset area
- Support and train colleagues
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Lead and participate in assigned projects
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ relevant experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in economics required (preferably in accounting)
- US GAAP or IFRS knowledge
- Strong general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
- Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues through root cause analysis
