RTR Team Lead (9 district., 4 home office/week)

Our American multinational partner company, which is supporting their clients in different areas, is looking for an RTR Team Lead colleague for their team.

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of GL/RTR experience and 1 year of people management experience in a multinational environment.

Your tasks will be as an RTR Team Lead:

  • Responsible for managing/ overseeing the above-detailed financial/accounting-related activities including issue/ problem resolution as necessary.
  • Participating in developing and negotiating service level agreements (SLAs) with the SSC customers supporting to setting and executing GA strategy.
  • Provide a control function to ensure all entries are adequate and compliant with company policies/ protocols (journal postings, B/S reconciliation approvals, sub ledger/ GL reconciliation approvals etc.).
  • Ensuring necessary control activities are carried out to assure quality.
  • Ensuring that the General Accounting activities carried out are all compliant with Internal Audit and Business Control (SOX and Operational Controls) guidelines.
  • Identifying areas for process improvements; works actively with the team on completing related process improvement projects.
  • Making sure GA processes are all standardized across all countries within SSC.
  • Ensuring GA-related desktop procedures and process maps are all adequate and are maintained regularly.
  • Delivering functional training to new hires and assists in delivering ongoing trainings to existing team members.
  • Making sure sufficient training material is designed and continuously updated on the GA field.
  • Assisting in other special projects as directed by management.
  • Escalating all issues to the GA Manager, Senior Manager.
  • Responsible for day-to-day functional supervision of his/her team, staffing, hiring, training, coaching, and developing; completing performance appraisals in accordance with the organization’s policies. Ensuring business continuity during paid time & sick leaves.
  • Facilitate team meetings.


  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in a GL or RTR accounting
  • Minimum 1 year of people management experience
  • Experience working in a multinational environment
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel (pivot, Vlookup)
  • Knowledge of People Soft or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
