 Our multinational partner company is looking for a Procurement Specialist candidate, who is responsible for executing operational procurement activities and handling supplier queries.

Job summary:
• Create Purchase Orders within the US region for compliance with preferred suppliers and procurement policy
• Track and action approved purchase requisitions
• Communication and tracking of Purchase Orders to vendors
• Tracking of open PO receipts and working with local resources to get these closed as promptly as possible
• Operational procurement reporting (PO volumes, open receipts, compliance, mass PO clean up, etc.)
• Receive and handle vendor queries and payment term questions
• Maintain all reports and proactively look for possible automation
• Support the training of other Business stakeholders on Purchase requisition creation and receipt activities
• SOP creation for the PO and PR process for all ERP systems
• Standardize the PO layouts and the processes as much as possible
• Support finance on validating the year end PO accrual status
• Support the IT team from Procurement side on the testing activities in case required (eg. system upgrade, approval flow change, etc.)
• Implement the controls for the Open PO/receipts

• College or University degree
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the field of procurement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (+ any other European language is preferable)
• ERP knowledge (Oracle, SAP etc.)
• Good MS Office knowledge and profound Excel skills
• Independent and pay attention to details
• Enjoy working with deadlines
