What you will be doing:
• Roles and responsibilities are determined for the entire Lexmark Group with worldwide scope
• Assist the Lease Accounting Expert in contract reviews for determining if the contract contains lease element
• Perform lease classification tests
• Operate the tool designed for maintaining and accounting for lease contracts from the perspective of the lessee
• Perform business as usual activities mainly from the point of the lessee as follows:
o Look at and review contracts designated as containing lease elements for gathering input data to the new lease tool
o Ensure accuracy and completeness of input data in the lease software
o Maintain, update system data relating to new, existing, and amended lease contracts
o Get the monthly output from the lease software & upload the corresponding journal entries into SAP following the review by the Lease Accounting Expert
o Perform account reconciliations for leases
• Execute controls over lease accounting procedures
• Proactively take part in process improvements, accounting, and lease related projects
• Support internal and external audits
Requirements that make you the best candidate:
• Degree in Economics / Accounting / Finance
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience in IFRS and/or US-GAAP and lease accounting is an advantage
• Experience in an international environment
• Fluent English mandatory, both written and oral
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
• SAP experience is an advantage
• Proactive in identifying issues and solutions
