Our international client is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing automotive suppliers, providing system-level solutions to its partners and serving various other industries such as rail, aerospace, healthcare, IT, and logistics. Due to their growth, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager for their Shared Service Center in Mosonmagyaróvár, who will transition the payroll operations from the German plant and build an 8-member payroll and social security administration team over the next year. The candidate will travel to Germany for a few weeks during the initial period to take over responsibilities from the local supporting team. Fluent German language skills and relevant experience are essential for this position.

Key responsibilities:
- Processing monthly payroll data and all changes in accordance with regulations
- Ensuring accurate and timely execution of the payroll process
- Verifying the accuracy of payroll data
- Supporting payroll operations
- Preparing reports for HR and Finance departments
- Handling complex payroll queries and escalations
- Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll
- Improving payroll processes
- Participating in payroll-related projects
- Participating in internal and external audits
- Supporting the professional training of new employees
- Coordinating the daily work of the payroll team
Requirements:
- Qualification in payroll and social security administration
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in payroll for EU countries is an advantage
- Fluent English and/or German
- Knowledge of payroll software (SAP is an advantage)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in payroll-related projects is an advantage
