We are looking for a senior certified accountant (HAS) for our commercial partner located in District 11. The company is German-owned, operates in multiple business sectors, and has an annual turnover of 5 billion HUF.
This position has become vacant after a long time, and we are seeking the right hand of the CFO. The accounting team currently consists of one junior and one senior accountant (the position to be filled).
This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a high degree of flexibility offered by the employer, including 2 guaranteed home office days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Full-scope accounting: incoming supplier invoices, customer invoices, bank transactions, general ledger entries, fixed assets, etc.
- VAT calculation and preparation of VAT returns
- Active participation in monthly and annual closings, accruals
- Assisting the CFO in preparing financial statements (standard fiscal year)
- Providing data required for audits
- Supporting colleagues and management in their work
Requirements:
- Certified accountant qualification (active registration not required)
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in full-scope accounting
- English language skills – part of the selection process will be conducted in English
- Independent, precise work style with the ability to collaborate in a team
- Sound judgment, proactivity, and problem-solving skills
- Organized and detail-oriented approach
