Our German multinational partner company is looking for a Spanish speaking AP Team Lead for their growing SSC. 

  

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of Accounts Payable accounting experience, minimum 2 years of leadership experience, and fluent English and Spanish knowledge.

 

Your tasks will be as an AP Team Lead:

  • Lead a team of AP Accountants in order to deliver Accounting services to all customers
  • Manage ongoing operations of the team. Plan and monitor the capacity and workload of the team, hire additional team members according to anticipated workload
  • Play an active role in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary and actively shape a new SSC in Budapest, from the impact assessment phase to the business-as-usual operation
  • Coordinate and control the knowledge transfer. Ensure seamless post go-live stabilization of finance processes in scope
  • Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to develop a professional relationship
  • Participate and lead projects assigned to the role (incl. Process optimization)
  • Lead by example a cross-functional collaboration, create a motivating working atmosphere and actively drive the change management
  • Coach and motivate team members
  • Monitor the team's performance against deliverables set in the Service Levels Agreements
  • Be involved in day-to-day operations and participate in the periodical closing processes
  • Identify, evaluate and resolve issues
  • Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures
  • Provide qualitative customer service

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to use both Spanish and English actively in working environment required
  • Minimum 3 years of AP experience, and at least 2 years of leadership experience
  • College / University degree is preferred
  • Working knowledge in SAP FI and MM modules and Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
  • Strong continuous improvement & quality mindset
  • Experience in process automation
  • Experience in Finance process transitions to SSC
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize the right things at the right time
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ability/willingness to travel – primarily during transition phases
