On behalf of our key client, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Recruiter with extensive experience specifically in the engineering field (ideally with exposure to the industrial sector as well).
This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated recruiters who enjoy professional challenges: The focus here is not on high-volume hiring, but rather on filling the most difficult, niche roles — the expected workload is around 20–30 positions per year.
The position has been created as part of a strategic rethink of the recruitment processes — it’s a brand-new internal opportunity. Fluency in English is required, as the hiring manager is US-based and peers will also be international colleagues.
To build strong relationships with hiring managers, a higher onsite presence is expected initially (4 days per week), though this may change over time.
About the job:
- End-to-end recruitment in the truest sense of the word — there’s no separate sourcing hub, so everything from finding candidates to negotiating offers and kicking off onboarding processes is part of the job!
- Come up with smart ways to find engineers with hard-to-find skills
- Work side-by-side with hiring managers to figure out what they need and how to find the right people
- Keep a solid list of potential candidates by staying active in sourcing and networking
- Do thoughtful screenings and share honest feedback to help make great hires
- Make sure candidates have a smooth, positive experience from start to finish
- Stay in the know about what’s new and what works in the world of recruiting
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on engineering roles
- Solid sourcing skills are a must — this is a true “one-person show” role, so finding the right candidates across all possible channels and building the pipeline will be fully in the new colleague’s hands
- Ideally, some in-house recruitment experience is already in place (though candidates with only agency backgrounds are also welcome)
- Fluent English is essential — the entire selection process will be conducted in English, and the manager is US-based
- Strong communication and negotiation skills — the recruiter will represent both the client and the candidates throughout the process
- Willingness to be onsite 4 days a week (at least in the beginning)
What our client offers
- Truly competitive salary with an annual bonus
- Permanent, long-term opportunity at a stable international company (not exposed to the automotive sector)
- Opportunities to grow professionally and take on new challenges
- A friendly, team-oriented atmosphere where collaboration matters
