EMEA Supply Chain S&OP Planner      


Our prestigious multinational client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain professional who will be in charge of managing the availability of his/her product-portfolio, aligned with Supply Chain fundamentals (inventory, operational costs, supply & demand accuracy). Makes sure that supply and demand is balanced and exceptions are well managed.

 

Location: Budapest, 9. district

Key responsibilities:

  • S&OP Process
    • Collaborates with WW planning team on EMEA supply planning.
    • Finalizes, analyzes, and presents supply commitments in S&OP meetings.
    • Communicates supply constraints and excess to key teams (Marketing, Sales, Demand Monitoring).
    • Proactively suggests solutions for availability/inventory issues (e.g., air shipment, demand switch).
    • Coordinates end-to-end supply and demand improvement actions.
  • Outlook & Forecasting
    • Provides revenue outlook input to Finance.
    • Shares projected constraints with Manager, Finance, and stakeholders.
    • Tracks monthly changes and assesses business impact.
  • Supply/Demand Management
    • Analyzes past month’s backorders (root causes and corrective actions).
    • Monitors forecasting anomalies (e.g., special deals, lifecycle changes).
    • Oversees production/logistics for special deals to ensure timely delivery.
    • Supports inbound logistics, emergencies, escalations, and exceptions.
  • Inventory Management
    • Contributes to inventory outlook and improvement plans.
    • Provides input to Inventory Manager and ensures target achievement.
    • Drives reduction of slow-moving and end-of-life inventory.
    • Ensures product availability by announcement date for new launches.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; preferably in Supply Chain Managament
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Management  
  • Solid English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills (oral/written)
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Analytical skills and data literacy
  • Excellent time management, project management, communication, and coordination skills
