A German multinational company is looking for a GL Team Lead.

Your tasks will be as an GL Team Lead:
• Lead a team of (Senior) Accountants (10-15 FTE)
• Manage ongoing operations of the team
• Coordinate and control the knowledge transfer
• Coach and motivate team members
• Lead by example a cross-functional collaboration, create a motivating working atmosphere and actively drive the change management
• Oversee the daily transactions and monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
• Approve journal entries by auditing the transactions
• Manage year-end closing
• Review and approve account/bank reconciliations
• Comply with local GAAP and IFRS Accounting standards
• Manage Asset Accounting related activities

Nice to have:
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting
• Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring people
• Fluent English
• Experience in process automation and optimization
• Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge
