SAP Finance/FICO Consultant

Join a key European development and manufacturing hub within a leading international group, specializing in automotive electronic components, based in Szombathely.

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance Consultant to manage the application of SAP Finance modules within our SAP ECC group system. This role is pivotal in supporting both domestic and international group companies, focusing on SAP FI/CO and CO-PC. The ideal candidate will be the central point of contact for all SAP Finance and Controlling topics, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvements.

Day-to-day of the role:

Act as the central point of contact for SAP Finance and Controlling topics across the group organization.
Support and further develop SAP FI/CO solutions in the SAP ECC environment.
Analyze business requirements together with finance and controlling stakeholders and translate them into system solutions.
Drive process improvements and support the optimization of finance-related business processes.
Coordinate and manage external service providers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects, including the future SAP S/4HANA journey.
Support finance compliance, tax reporting, and e-invoicing initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must-have:
- Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant or SAP Finance Application Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes and their implementation in SAP.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with external service providers and implementation partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Structured and independent working style.
- Business fluent English.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with SAP CO-PC.
- Experience with tax reporting, e-invoicing, or regulatory reporting solutions.
- Experience with SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects or migrations.
- German language skills.
