On behalf of our partner, we are looking for an experienced ITSM Process Owner with a strong focus on Configuration Management (CMDB).
The role is responsible for the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT Service Management processes, ensuring that configuration items, services, and their relationships are accurately maintained and transparent across the organization. This position plays a key role in supporting operational teams and enabling effective business and IT decision‑making.
Responsibilities:
- Own and continuously develop ITSM processes, with a strong focus on Configuration Management
- Design, document, standardize, and optimize ITSM processes end‑to‑end
- Cooperate closely with IT teams and business areas to ensure efficient and consistent process execution
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs, prepare regular reports and management insights
- Apply and promote ITIL principles across the organization
- Support audits and compliance requirements, ensuring traceability and process adherence
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of CMDB data (assets, services, relationships)
- Provide professional support to operational teams in using ITSM and CMDB processes effectively
Requirements:
Education & language skills:
- Higher education degree in IT, Engineering, or Economics
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Advanced Hungarian language skills
Professional experience & knowledge:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, governing, supporting, and operating ITSM processes in an enterprise environment
- Strong Configuration Management focus
- Financial or banking sector experience is an advantage
- Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of ITIL processes and their interdependencies
- Experience in policy and regulation development related to ITSM processes
