Our partner is an American multinational company that is in the chemical industry. They are looking for a GL Accountant colleague for their growing team.
The ideal candidate should have minimum 1year of general ledger accounting experience, and intermediate English knowledge.
The GL Accountant will participate in the month-end closing activities, as well as in the during-the-month reporting activities and bookkeeping.
Your tasks will be as a GL Accountant:
- Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation and General Ledger accounts analysis
- Accounting and handling of Accruals & Provisions and Wages & Salary related accounts
- Fixed Asset accounting
- Participate in the closing process (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Contact partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT)
- Contact local colleagues/departments from different countries
- Contact with auditors, tax consultants
- Data providing (Auditors, Statistic Office)
- Responsible for USGAAP and Local accounting rules

Requirements:
- University or College degree in Finance/Accounting or Certified Chartered Accountant
- Intermediate English and Hungarian
- Ability to work independently, reliability
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience in accounting
- Familiarity with SAP or JDE is a plus
