Senior Accounting & Reporting Accountant

Our multinational client is looking for a Senior Accounting & Reporting Accountant for their team.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with minimum 5-7 years of complex accounting experience, and excellent English knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a Senior Accounting & Reporting Accountant:

Lead accurate month-end close processes in line with group timelines and accounting policies.
Manage US GAAP quarter-end and year-end reporting requirements.
Prepare strong, audit-ready balance sheet reconciliations and own open items.
Conduct high‑quality trial balance reviews and deliver meaningful variance analysis.
Support US GAAP tax provisioning, from forecasting and journal entries to reporting outputs.
Prepare GAAP‑to‑statutory bridge files and contribute to local statutory accounts.
Coordinate statutory audits as the main point of contact for external auditors.
Draft and review financial statement narratives and management report sections.
Ensure accurate ledger maintenance and statutory compliance in SAP.
Manage compliance calendars and deliver timely filings, tax payments, and submissions.
Resolve ServiceNow tickets efficiently while supporting EMEA stakeholders.
Work closely with cross‑functional finance teams to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support ad hoc projects, including tax audits.

Requirements:

BSc/MSc Degree in economics
Minimum of 5-7 years accounting experience in a multinational company
Big 4 experience is a plus
Good written and verbal English language skills essential
Strong time management skills
Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS
Knowledge of SAP, Power-BI, Blackline, OneSource or similar
You are comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders across countries and time zones, and you can confidently manage external auditor interactions
