About This Role
In the Shared Technology division, we focus on building people-centric solutions that transform and accelerate our portfolio. As an IT Cloud Engineer in the Technical Operations team, you will be instrumental in shaping the technology experience across the firm. This role demands a proactive approach with a focus on cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, security, and cost optimization. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, developing custom solutions, and delivering high-impact projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Implement integrations between critical cloud and SaaS technology solutions.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to implement significant support processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for business enablement through intelligent use of cloud technology.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost, implementing optimizations and alerting where necessary.
- Manage and enforce cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support and provision business applications in a cloud-based environment.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud platforms, services, and tools.
- Take ownership of projects from inception through to delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP and/or AWS; Azure familiarity is a plus.
- 2+ years of development experience in Python and/or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Proficiency in utilizing APIs for integrating custom solutions from SaaS offerings.
- Experience with Okta or similar SSO and identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Confluence and Jira.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience with ticketing platforms.
- Proficiency in English.
