Senior Payroll Specialist

What you will be doing:
• Main task is to coordinate the execution of the monthly payroll activity and off-cycle payments for the site (payroll and benefits are outsourced to an external partner)
• Take active part in 2 exciting projects, such as:
o Hungarian vendor change project
o building up the new Budapest-based international payroll hub
• Supervise the maintenance of employee personal and employment data using an HRIS system (Workday)
• Employee payroll related query resolution (email, phone, face-to-face) in cooperation with our EMEA HR Shared Services Centre located in the BSC in Budapest
• Advice and guidance to managers on complex employee relation, payroll issues
• New joiner administration, tax registry, employee off-boarding administration in cooperation with HR SSC
• Preparing payroll data for the payroll partner (admin of time and attendance, sick leave, personnel data and contract changes, home travel administration, etc.)
• Coordinating the relocation process for foreigners (process is outsourced to an external partner)
• Fringe benefit (Cafeteria) related coordination in cooperation with outsourced external partner
• Preparing ad hoc employment contract modifications
• Administrating of maternity leave cases
• Preparing ad hoc employment certifications
• HR/Payroll and basic local law related internal trainings for managers (T&A system, time-banking and overtime rules, social security & taxation, maternity cases, leaver process, etc.)
• Reporting tasks

Requirements that make you the best candidate:
• Minimum 1,5-2 years relevant work experience in UK / Polish HR administration/payroll
• Good command of English and Hungarian (written and spoken); Polish language knowledge is considered as a plus
• Strong user knowledge of MS-Office (mainly Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment, learn quickly
• Ability to keep deadlines, to be accurate with details
• Team player and "can do" attitude
• Knowledge of Workday, Nexon4 and Cloudpay is an advantage but not a must
