A German multinational company is looking for a Senior GL Accountant.

Your tasks will be as a Senior GL Accountant:

• Be involved in day-to-day operations in the following process areas (not exhaustive)
• Manage Manual & Semi automatic postings
• Calculate inventory adjustments, reconcile reports, calculate provisions,
• Balance Sheet: Banking
• Bank statement posting to GL accounts
• FX transaction and perform posting
• Decide on Accounting treatment for deferred items, perform postings
• Accrual and provision management
• Manage Profit & Loss
• General Ledger Closing
• Own and manage internal operational controls, Prepare documentation for auditor/tax authorities
• Asset master data maintenance, setting up of asset classes
• Managing acquisitions, disposals, revaluation, depreciation
• AA closing activities

Nice to have:
• University degree in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification
• Fluent English and German / Italian language skills
• 2+ years of experience in accounting (primarily GL)
• Very good understanding of the Accounting processes
• Transition experience is beneficial
