Job description
We are looking for a colleague for our international software development partner company, which specializes in enterprise and legacy system modernization, for the following position:
Senior AS400 and Java Developer
Responsibilities:
- Rewriting and implementing RPG/Cobol/CL programs running on IBM iSeries (AS400) into Java EE
- Participating in the development of the existing legacy system and the migration project
- Handling and documenting system incidents
- Collaborating with international development and testing teams
- Translating business requirements into technical tasks
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in AS/400 development
- Confident use of the OS400 operating system
- Experience with SQL/DB2 stored procedures
- Proficiency in Cobol and RPG
- Experience working on complex AS400-based systems
- Flexible and collaborative team player
Advantages:
