RTR Accountant (11.district, 3 days home office)

Job description

 Our American multinational partner company which is in the entertainment industry is looking for an Accountant colleague for their RTR team.

The Programming Accountant is responsible for ensuring the precision and timeliness of accounting and analysis of the company’s Film accounting transactions.

The ideal candidate should have an Economist Degree, Fluent English knowledge, and 2+ years of accounting experience.

Your tasks will be as an RTR Expert:
• Process programming project and asset master data, including budget allocation.
• Raise purchase orders for contractual obligations from license agreements.
• Review and approve vendor invoices related to programming licenses.
• Generate and analyze open purchase order reports to ensure accurate asset recording.
• Create program payment schedules based on contract reviews.
• Load film asset amortization to SAP
• Determine and record short-term/long-term liability reclassifications.
• Prepare and park journal entries.
• Process disposals for fully amortized acquired program assets.
• Conduct account reconciliations for programming assets and obligations.
• Prepare program asset and liability account roll forwards and support financial statement disclosures.
• Maintain commitments and contingencies schedules.
• Participate in the monthly KPI or Metrics cycle.
• Recommend process improvements for team efficiency.
• Provide guidance, education, and training to less senior team members.
• Ensure compliance with key controls, internal policies, and Sarbanes Oxley rules.

Requirements:
• BS/MSc in Accounting/Finance
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Proactive problem-solver with strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP/IFRS).
• Track record of process improvement.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
