Your tasks will be as an Inventory Accounting Controller:
- Maintenance of the safe accounting control environment and compliance with global accounting policies and the reporting framework (US-GAAP) pertaining to inventory accounting
- Execute financial reporting related to corporate controls over inventories
- Analyze and advise on complex/one-off accounting matters/issues relating to Inventories
- Ensure through daily activities that inventory movements are properly accounted for in the G/L
- Analyze inventory movements on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
- Ensure the accurate and complete determination of inventory-related reserves in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and policies
- Analyze inventory in-transit movements and co-ordinate the resolution of open items with Supply Chain operations
- Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations with respect to inventory-related G/L accounts
- Participating in monthly review meetings
- Assist in external and internal audits
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment
- Experience in US-GAAP
- Fluent English mandatory, both written and oral
