An American multinational company is looking for an Inventory Accounting Controller colleague.

Your tasks will be as an Inventory Accounting Controller:

  • Maintenance of the safe accounting control environment and compliance with global accounting policies and the reporting framework (US-GAAP) pertaining to inventory accounting
  • Execute financial reporting related to corporate controls over inventories
  • Analyze and advise on complex/one-off accounting matters/issues relating to Inventories
  • Ensure through daily activities that inventory movements are properly accounted for in the G/L
  • Analyze inventory movements on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Ensure the accurate and complete determination of inventory-related reserves in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and policies
  • Analyze inventory in-transit movements and co-ordinate the resolution of open items with Supply Chain operations
  • Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations with respect to inventory-related G/L accounts
  • Participating in monthly review meetings
  • Assist in external and internal audits

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or relevant work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment
  • Experience in US-GAAP
  • Fluent English mandatory, both written and oral
