An American multinational company is looking for a GL Accountant colleague, who will participate in the month-end closing activities, as well as in the during-the-month reporting activities and bookkeeping.

Your tasks will be as a GL Accountant:

• Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation and General Ledger accounts analysis
• Accounting and handling of Accruals & Provisions and Wages & Salary related accounts
• Fixed Asset accounting
• Participate in the closing process (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
• Contact partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT)
• Contact local colleagues/departments from different countries
• Contact with auditors, tax consultants
• Data providing (Auditors, Statistic Office)
• Responsible for USGAAP and Local accounting rules

Nice to have:

• University or College degree in Finance/Accounting or Certified Chartered Accountant
• Intermediate English and Hungarian
• Ability to work independently, reliability
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in accounting
• Familiarity with SAP or JDE is a plus
