Our partner is a well-established profitable provider of integrated IT solutions and IT staff augmentation projects. We are looking for a mid-level or senior DevOps Engineer to be part of our DevOps team and work from our Budapest office, contributing to a variety of projects across the company. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a stable environment and prefers long-term product development and maintenance. Typical tasks include managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability. From time to time, the position also requires providing support outside of regular working hours. We expect good communication skills in English and Hungarian, a positive attitude, a high level of commitment and responsibility, agility, and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

Requirements

  • BSc /MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in implementing and managing DevOps practices

  • Strong experience with Docker

  • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes

  • Solid shell script coding skills

  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services for scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure

  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, e.g., GitHub Actions, Helm-based deployments

  • Experience in utilizing Infrastructure as Code like Terraform

  • Familiar with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datado

  • Good understanding of database systems, especially Postgres

  • Experience in managing RabbitMQ clusters (Optional)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of the cloud development lifecycle

  • Write high-quality scripts and code for infrastructure management and automation

  • Set up, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for deployments

  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of applications and services

  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Manage and support Kubernetes workloads and Helm-based deployments

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployments and workflows

  • Perform system deployments and provide occasional out-of-hours support when required
