SAP SD Developer

Join a key European development and manufacturing hub within a leading international group, specializing in automotive electronic components, based in Szombathely.

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and maintain ABAP solutions tailored to our SD requirements. This role involves working on a variety of projects including S/4HANA conversions/implementation, developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, and ensuring seamless integrations across customer, shipping, and billing systems.

Day to-day of the role:

Design and develop ABAP solutions including classic reports, module pools, enhancements, user exits, BADI's, BAPI's, and RFC's.
Implement and maintain interfaces and integrations using IDoc/EDI, RFC, PI/PO/CPI, web services, and OData/SAP Gateway.
Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services for sales, delivery, and billing scenarios.
Participate in S4/HANA conversion/implementation projects, adapting custom code, performing compatibility checks, and migrating reports and interfaces.
Conduct performance analysis and code optimization focusing on SQL tuning, buffering, and memory usage.
Prepare technical design documents, conduct unit tests, and participate in integration and user acceptance testing.
Support data migration tasks and collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong ABAP development skills with experience in classical reports, module pools, ALV, OO-ABAP, BAPI's, BADI's, RFC's, and IDocs.
Proven experience with S/4HANA development topics such as ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and RAP.
Experience in developing SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services.
Knowledge of integration topics including EDI/IDoc, SAP GTS, and interface development.
Understanding of SD business processes like invoicing, shipping, and foreign-trade.
Familiarity with integration of further SAP modules like FI/CO, PP.
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to produce clear technical design documentation from functional specifications.
At least 3-5 years of experience in SAP development within the SD area.
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT education.
Good English communication skills.
