SAP Application Team Lead
Join a key European development and manufacturing hub within a leading international group, specializing in automotive electronic components, based in Szombathely. We are seeking a SAP Application Team Lead to spearhead our SAP Application team, focusing on SAP Finance (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), and SAP Development. This role is crucial for defining and driving the SAP application strategy in alignment with our overarching business objectives and IT strategy.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and develop the SAP Application team across various modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, and development.
- Strategically define and drive the SAP application initiatives, ensuring they align with business and IT goals.
- Manage SAP application operations to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions and roadmaps.
- Coordinate with external partners on implementation and support to ensure quality, budget, and timelines are met.
- Lead SAP-related projects and transformation initiatives, including transitions to SAP S/4HANA.
- Drive process optimization and standardization across finance, procurement, logistics, and sales.
- Oversee change management, incident handling, and release management within the SAP environment.
- Manage team priorities, resource allocation, and professional development.
- Ensure rigorous documentation, governance, compliance, and risk management within SAP operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in SAP consulting, application management, or project delivery.
- Expertise in at least one core SAP domain: SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, or SAP SD.
- Proven leadership in managing SAP projects or delivery teams.
- Effective collaboration with business stakeholders to transform business requirements into system solutions.
- Knowledge of end-to-end business processes in finance, procurement, supply chain, or sales.
- Experience managing external service providers and project partners.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Business fluency in English.
