We are seeking a Finance Data Analyst on behalf of our client, a global healthcare company, to support their FP&A Center of Excellence on a maternity cover assignment. This role is integral to the organization’s financial planning processes, offering the opportunity to take ownership of centralized headcount planning while driving automation and data-driven decision-making.
Headcount Planning: Own and maintain the centralized headcount forecasting model across multiple stakeholders.
Workforce Data Management: Consolidate and validate workforce data from Workday to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain Python scripts to support headcount forecasting and improve efficiency.
Monthly Reconciliation: Lead the monthly headcount reconciliation process ahead of FP&A planning cycles under tight deadlines.
Cost Forecasting: Ensure accurate tracking of workforce-related cost drivers, including hires, exits, and replacements.
Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between Finance and HR / HR Analytics teams on workforce data topics.
Planning Support: Deliver structured and reliable headcount inputs to support budgeting and cost planning processes.
Reporting: Build and maintain Power BI reports focusing on OPEX and P&L visibility.
Process Improvement: Drive automation, standardization, and centralization of planning processes.
Data Accuracy: Perform manual validation and ensure high data quality and reliability of outputs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
FP&A Experience: Proven experience in financial planning, controlling, or FP&A.
Workforce Planning: Hands-on experience with headcount or workforce planning processes.
Technical Skills: Strong Python scripting skills and solid experience with Excel and Power BI.
Financial Knowledge: Good understanding of OPEX and P&L structures.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
Language Skills: Fluent English.

Systems Knowledge: Experience with Workday or similar HR systems.
