Our German multinational partner company is looking for a Spanish speaking AP Accountant colleague for their growing SSC. 

The ideal candidate should have minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable accounting experience, and fluent English and Spanish knowledge.

Your tasks will be as an AP Accountant

  • Be involved in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary
  • Be involved in day-to-day operations in the following process areas
  • Document receipt
  • Invoice verification and processing
  • Outgoing payment processing
  • Reclaims & corrections
  • AP Closing and periodical activities
  • Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures
  • Determine, evaluate and resolve issues,
  • Identify and work on process improvements
  • Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to develop a professional relationship
  • Be the ambassador of our organization towards our Suppliers
  • Ensure that all process manuals/relevant work instructions are created and updated on a regular basis

Requirements:

  • College or University degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in AP accounting (primarily in the SSC sector)
  • Transition experience is beneficial
  • Very good understanding of the AP processes
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Strong English and Spanish language skills (ideally Hungarian skills as well)
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI
  • Ability/willingness to travel
  • Self-starting attitude and ability to work independently
  • Strong team-player
