Senior RF Engineer
On behalf of our international, publicly listed partner, we are looking for an experienced RF Engineer who will bring extensive technical expertise, commit long-term, and work as part of a dynamic, global team.
The role focuses on the development and validation of automotive wireless communication modules (2G/3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi and V2X), including hardware RF design, calibration, and performance optimization. The new team member will play a key role throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design to mass production.
Responsibilities:
- Manage RF development activities and support project management
- Review schematic and PCB designs
- Develop RF drivers and calibration plans
- Identify and resolve RF issues, optimize performance
- Validate and verify RF performance in a lab environment
- Design test cases for special customer requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers (depending on seniority)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant RF development experience, ideally with mobile phone development background
- Strong knowledge of GSM/EDGE/WCDMA/LTE/NR/V2X/WLAN technologies and 3GPP/IEEE standards
- Experience in RF system design (Tx/Rx), RF matching, and calibration
- Proficiency in using RF measurement tools (Call Box tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer)
- Advantage: NAD module development experience, automotive RF systems knowledge
- Fluent English is essential; Chinese language skills are a plus
- Strong problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset
