On behalf of our client we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead its regulatory reporting function (4‑member specialist team) within the Finance Department.

The role oversees all prudential and statistical submissions, ensures full regulatory compliance, and serves as the primary point of contact with the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a 4‑person regulatory reporting team, ensuring high‑quality submissions for all local entities
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the local data warehouse and reporting infrastructure
  • Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of capital requirements
  • Coordinate liquidity‑risk related reporting activities within the Finance Department
  • Manage ICAAP processes and related documentation
  • Act as the main liaison with the MNB on regulatory matters
  • Coordinate mandatory disclosures and support business planning reports
  • Maintain and update reporting procedures, systems, and risk‑related policies
  • Perform additional tasks aligned with professional background and expertise

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in reporting or accounting; financial‑sector background preferred.
  • Fluent Hungarian and English
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; database experience and knowledge of SQL or VBA are preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; ability to work under pressure.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, resilient and solution‑oriented attitude.
