Our multinational partner company in Biatorbágy is looking for a Chief Accountant colleague, who will effectively supervise the key areas of the business operations and manage the accounting team of 7.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum 8 years of accounting experience and a minimum 3 years of management experience.

Your tasks will be as a Chief Accountant:

·         Being the Leader of the Accounting Team (7 FTE)

·         Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions

·         Perform month-end accounting activities (according HAS) such as reconciliations and journal entries;

·         Coordinate with the team to complete assigned accounting tasks

·         Maintain effective accounting system and policies

·         Ensuring the correctness of relevant book-keeping and preparing all tax declarations

·         Being the contact person for the relations with tax authority

·         Responsible for preparing complete and accurate financial statements (HAS)

·         Preparing group consolidation package under IFRS

·         Cooperation with external auditors to carry out periodical external audit processes (Yearly statutory audit support, answer audit-related questions)

·         Coordinate the cash management in cooperation with the CFO

·         Close cooperation with Headquater

Requirements:
• Economics degree in accounting with chartered accountant qualification (with registration number)
• 3-5 years of experience as a chief accountant
• HAS knowledge and experience is a KO criteria (+IFRS would be a huge advantage)
• Good english knowledge (the whole recruitment process is conducted in English)

• Strong organizational skills
