HR Assistant required for a leading organisation based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. In this role you will support the HR team by completing various HR administration tasks in accordance with procedures and ensuring details remain confidential at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the HR team with HR policies and procedures
• Input gross pay, overtime, expenses, ensuring that all details are entered correctly in accordance with instructions from the appropriate level of line management
• Deal with wage queries
• Prepare bonus calculations to review and authorise before arranging payment
• Update the overtime spreadsheet monthly
• Sickness absence management
• Prepare job offer letters, contracts of employment and induction packs for new starters ensuring that all details are correct
• Carry out pre-employment checks
• HR administration duties
• Ad hoc HR duties and project work


Experience and Skills required:

• CIPD qualified or working towards ( desirable )
• Previous HR administration experience
• Experience of working with HR systems
