What YOU will be doing:
Manage a portfolio of company’s sites and/or state by analysing monthly performance and reporting monthly to the owners/stakeholders.
Facilitate all end of month processes to prepare site profit and loss and generating budget vs actual vs last year variance analysis
Contribute to statutory reporting financial requirements as issued by Head Office
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Prepare monthly Balance sheet reconciliations and add value to reporting of individual assets and liabilities
Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to cultivate optimum reports within ideal timeframes
Responsible for coding accounts payable invoices and making accruals
Assist in the external audit process by providing reports and analysis
Involvement in process improvement projects or any ad-hoc requests assigned by the country manager or Group CFO
Submit proposals and recommendations to management relating to profit improvement initiatives including cost reductions to enhance operating results and financial position of sites
Report on KPIs mandated by agreements and develop any KPIs that enhance reporting including reporting to industry benchmarks
Preparation of Monthly Business Activity Statements and other indirect return requirements
Provide advice and finance support to ensure robust financial decisions are made
Individual contributor role (operational and co-ordinational task, close cooperation with management)
Requirements that make you the BEST candidate:
Minimum 5-7 years working experience in the field of accounting
Fluent English knowledge
Finance or Accounting degree required (Chartered Accountant degree is a must)
Knowledge of Hungarian Accounting Standards; IFRS is a plus
Advanced degree, professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIA) is a big plus
Knowledge of month-end process, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of P&L accounts
Understanding of reporting requirements
Knowledge and understanding of a professional business environment
