The Statutory Accounting and Audit Support Analyst assists with the preparation of the centralized Statutory Accounting activities of our multinational partner company and supports the local controllers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and production of the statutory accounts for the company in various countries
• Assist in the control reviews of statutory accounts per legal entity
• Coordinate the preparation of statutory audit files
• Ensure financial deadlines are met in compliance with the company and local legislation
• Provide regular updates to the Corporate Statutory Team on the status of statutory filings
• Prepare annual statutory reconciliations as needed
• Drive process improvement and streamline current practices
• Support and assist the Corporate Statutory Team with the statutory outsourcing project
• Assist with ad hoc requirements from the management
• Ensure that all relevant key controls are met and functioning properly in accordance with internal policies and procedures and Sarbanes Oxley rules and regulations
• Work with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews/audits by preparing information requests and addressing inquiries
• Assist with tax inquiries
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• 1-2 years relevant work experience in a broad range of general/statutory accounting functions
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a matrix environment
• Ability to be aware of the audience and adapt message and communication style accordingly
• Experience in HFM, Longview and SAP a strong plus
• Demonstrate strong and up-to-date accounting knowledge (US GAAP/IFRS)
• Good understanding of general accounting principles, concepts, and processes to be able to form an opinion on accounting and process matters
• Confident business English language skills both oral and in writing (B1/B2 or above)
