On behalf of our multinational partner we are looking for an experienced (mid‑level professional, having 2 years of relevant experience), passionate, and motivated sales professional who has proven track record in the field of biomedical field / life science.
Our client represents several globally recognized brands across the region, serving R&D laboratories ,diagnostic customers, academic & university research institutes, clinical research centers etc.
This position requires a high degree of independence, as the future colleague will work under a remotely based Sales Manager and will be responsible for the company’s exclusive representation in the Hungarian market.
The company is located in Szigetszentmiklós, and occasional visits to the office are expected -the position is open countrywide.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by maintaining a strong market presence, identifying new opportunities, and proactively promoting the product portfolio - focusing on the local, Hungarian market
- Assess market trends and intelligence to uncover potential partners and expand the company’s commercial footprint.
- Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships through consultative engagement and a solid understanding of client needs, challenges, and workflows.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including handling enquiries, preparing tailored quotations, following up on proposals, and coordinating contracting processes.
- Represent the company at industry events, such as professional exhibitions, conferences, and scientific forums, actively showcasing products and strengthening brand visibility.
- Monitor key sales indicators to evaluate performance, ensure pipeline health, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to annual sales planning, including forecasting and defining targets to support strategic commercial objectives.
Requirements:
- Approximately two years of relevant experience in a comparable role within the biotechnology or biomedical sciences sector
- Fluency in English is essential, as the entire recruitment and evaluation process is conducted by international colleagues
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, demonstrating a consultative and customer ‑ centric mindset
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage a variety of professional stakeholders
- High level of independence, accountability, and resilience, with the capacity to perform effectively under pressure
