We are looking for a Finance Specialist to manage the complete financial administration of their two restaurants in the country and support their 25-member team.
Our client is a long-term, stable player in the domestic gastronomy scene, offering an indefinite-term employment contract, flexible working hours, and a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising and providing data to the external accounting firm for bookkeeping and payroll
- Communicating with suppliers – negotiating prices and contract terms
- Updating inventory records, analyzing inventory discrepancies
- Preparing bank transfers, compiling transfer packages
- Managing employee records, HR administration
- Using the internal system (Sage)
- Handling cash and petty cash
- Preparing reports for the hotel – commissions, room rates, and other fees (“landlord”), and for the parent company
- Daily communication with the local Operations Manager and the Head Chef
Requirements:
- Advanced English proficiency is essential, as the selection process will be conducted entirely in English
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role – experience in tourism/hospitality is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, independence (the professional supervisor – CFO oversees the work from abroad)
- Knowledge in accounting – supporting bookkeeping (certified accountant qualification is an advantage)
- Willingness to work in a team
- Confident knowledge of Excel
