What you will be doing:
• Support the local COGS Manager with respect to the maintenance of the safe accounting control environment and compliance with global accounting policies and the reporting framework (i.e. US-GAAP) pertaining to cost accounting;
• Execute financial reporting related to Corporate controls over cost;
• Constant application of the mindset of improving current processes in line with the expectation of efficiency;
• Analyse and advise on complex/one-off accounting matters/issues relating to COGS;
• Operate the cost accounting and planning process;
• Being responsible for the accurate and proper accounting of inbound cost including the preparation of analysis on monthly variances;
• Preparing BS reconciliations with respect to certain reserves and/or accruals;
• Participating in monthly review meetings on COGS;
• Assist in external and internal audits including preparation of supports, and materials upon request;

Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting or relevant work experience
• Work experience in an international environment
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in US-GAAP
• Solid SAP knowledge
• Fluent English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
