We are looking for Senior Statutory Accountants to join our multinational partner’s growing team, where work-life balance is a priority and overtime simply does not exist.
As a Senior Statutory Accountant, you will support statutory and group audits, prepare and review statutory financial statements, and collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in audit (preferably at a Big 4) or in a statutory accounting role and is fluent in English.
Your tasks will be as a Senior Statutory Accountant:
- Manage the statutory audit processes, including coordination between the auditors, outsourced providers in India, the business, and retained finance across the clusters as the key contact for external Auditor.
- Improve the process to minimize the cost of SFS production, review, and audit including optimization of system functionality and automation and ensuring the best use of the FSC.
- Responsible for managing on-time delivery and quality of overseas branch final reconciled Trial Balances and supporting documentation.
- Proactively manage external Auditor, ensuring that all PBC deliverables are delivered on time.
- Manage responses to audit queries and findings.
- Support the CIT (Corporation Tax) computation process that is owned by the in-house Tax department.
- Support legal entity rationalization projects, providing technical accounting guidance as required.
- Provide intercompany balance confirmations to support local overseas audit requirements.
- Create efficiencies through continuous improvement of processes.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks

Requirements:
- About 4 years of experience in accounting, or audit
- Excellent communication in English
- Strong technical accounting skills. IFRS (FRS101) Essential, USGAAP desirable
- Proven project management skills to facilitate coordination of key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, a ‘key thinker’ who manages deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in complex accounting entries.
- Workday (ERP) and Hyperion (HDM) experience is desirable.
- Experience working in a large, global company is desirable.
- Experience working in an outsourced Finance environment would be an advantage.
